MEMORIAL DAY 2017

We are so thankful for the men and women who have served and continue to serve our country!

E-I-E-I-O, HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARGOT!

On the way to the lake this past weekend, we were able to stop by the Platt "farm" to celebrate Margot's 2nd birthday.
Mercer chose chalk and a sidewalk over the petting zoo and fruit over the birthday cake.

Don't let the cake pictures fool you, she licked the icing and immediately informed me that she was "all done".

Cheers to two years sweet Margot, thanks for having us!

CELEBRATING BABY HABLINSKI

Last weekend, we had the pleasure of celebrating the impending arrival of baby boy Hablinski.  Allison, who also happens to be the most adorable pregnant woman, made the trip from Houston to Dallas so we could celebrate her and we are oh so glad she did!

The shower was at my house and I must give a shout out to Parnell, who assisted me with moving our living room furniture to the garage so we could set up tables and seating for the occasion.  He says it is never happening again...but...we shall see.

My mom monogrammed towels for all the guests to take home with them, charity Wendy!

Allison with her hostesses (missing Amelia who lives in Baltimore).

PONYTAIL PARNELL

Hi there!  The Parnell clan has been busy, busy, busy. Between both of our work schedules as of late, there hasn't been much downtime for extracurricular activities and photo ops. We did however, manage to sneak in our first ponytail and it gave me all the heart eyes.

CINCO DE MAYO

For reference, baby Cinco de Mayo Mercer:

I can't even handle it...

GARDENING

Mercer's sweet teachers planned a gardening afternoon last week for parents to join.  They had plenty of seeds and dirt to entertain the entire crew.

Mercer ended the afternoon in the empty soil bucket...sigh
